Hello friends, today I am going to answer some common questions about Google AdSense. (FAQs about Google AdSense)
How To Get Google Adsense Approval
How to apply for Google AdSense
Google AdSense is one of the most popular ad program between publishers and it’s very simple to create an account on this. Go to Google AdSense, submit your details (like your website url, email id etc.) and signup for free.
Then, google gives you a code which you need to place between head code of all the pages where you want the ads. (or directly enter the code on the header of your theme)
Or you can use insert header and footer plugin. Just copy and paste the code in the headers and done.
When to apply to Google AdSense for approval
Before applying for Google AdSense (for WordPress users), you must need to:
1. Choose a good looking and professional theme
It’s okay if you are using WordPress free themes but for AdSense approval I suggest to purchase a good looking and professional theme that attracts your visitors. I am using Themify ultra, the best, most flexible and multipurpose theme for WordPress.
You can check my full review here: Themify Ultra Review (For WordPress In 2020)
2. Write at least 10 posts with unique and quality contents
You need to write atleast 10 unique and quality blog posts that contains minimum 750 words. Make them SEO optimized with the help of any SEO plugin or do it by yourself if you know basics of SEO optimized posts.
You can use Yoast SEO plugin for SEO. Dont worry you can properly setup Yoast in about an hour: How To Setup Yoast SEO On WordPress (Step by Step)
3. SSL Certificate (highly recommended)
Google has already announced that websites without an SSL certificate opened with a warning that “this website is not secure”. So it’s necessary to purchase an SSL certificate if you are looking for Adsense approval.
You are getting free SSL certificate for lifetime with Siteground hosting. And its a WordPress recommended hosting provider, so you don’t need to worry about the performance of the hosting. I am using it and its great.
4. Do not use any other ads on your website
Its recommended to not use any other ad program at the time of approval or till you get the approval.
That doesn’t mean you can use other ad programs with Adsense after approval. Don’t do it, you will get banned from AdSense even after approval. Read their terms and policies carefully.
Yes, you can use affiliate links with AdSense without worries, there is no policy violation for that.
5. No minimum requirement for daily/monthly page views
If You heard that, for AdSense approval, you need daily 20 views or 50 views or even 100 views. That’s not true, it’s totally fake. I can get approval with 0 page views.
Don’t believe on these things, there is no minimum requirement for daily or monthly page views. There is nothing to worry about this.
But I will suggest you to create these pages. Even if you don’t want these pages now but in future, you will definitely need these pages.
Follow the above steps before applying for Google AdSense. I am sure you will get approval after applying these steps otherwise, you did not get approval and your account stucks on “Your account is activating”.
Stuck on “Account is activating”
Google takes normally 24-48 hours to activate your account but for some reasons it may take more than that. If you follow my above steps, then your account will get approved within 48 hours.
I get my website approval after 10-15 days because at that time I didn’t know about these things.
How to know your AdSense account is activated
You will be notified by a congratulations mail(the mail id you insert during sign up process of Google AdSense) when your account approval is confirmed.
After approval you can set adsense ads with the help of this article: How to set AdSense Ads on WordPress(In 2020)
Good luck and let me know in the comments section if you are facing any issue. And don’t forget to share it with your friends who are looking for Google AdSense approval guides.
